According to Ron Jones, City Building Department, the POA will NOT have to meet the P&Z deadline (April 15) for submission of plans for next months (May 27) “Public Hearing.” This, despite the fact that the so-called FINAL PLANS, 3rd version, were not submitted to the City until 8am April 21. AND despite the fact that the Commission specifically requested a detailed DRAINAGE report, in addition to more info or changes re parking, building colors, roof concerns, etc. The “Staff Report” recommending Commission approval is now a Public Document and might be worth a look.
Interested residents should attend tomorrow’s (April 25) POA “presentation” of the Final Plans at 6pm at the Country Club.
Watch for MORE no-bid contracts, etc. to be announced.
POA MOUNTAIN OF CASH FROM OUR DUES:
Just got a phone call from a friend: (And I know where the info comes from.)
The POA plans to landscape the area at the end of Turnberry Drive (Cardinal 6 area) and other golf course areas (Golfers do NOT care about flowers & bushes) because “the POA has SO MUCH MONEY (guess where from?) they have to think up ways to spend it.” OUCH!
Will this RIP OFF ever stop? Not til we KICK THEM OUT!
REMINDER: POA MEMBER MEETING, 6PM, COUNTRY CLUB, TOMORROW, APRIL 25.
