Has anyone else noticed the little blue sign across from Ace Hardware concerning a request for a variance from DOLLAR TREE for a sign?
It seems not only is Diamondhead getting a Family Dollar store, but Dollar Tree is also moving into Diamondhead. Or is the city confused on what is actually coming into Diamondhead??
Anyway, Dollar Tree (according to the sign) is requesting a variance to have a 129 square foot wall sign at the store. I’m not sure why they need a sign that huge. The store’s location is listed as being 4402 E. Aloha Drive.
A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday at city hall at 2 PM. Case number is listed as #2013-02.
How about coming out and opposing the variance! I’ll be there opposing it. East Aloha Drive does NOT need to look like Highway 49 in Gulfport.
