Book lovers will have an opportunity to peruse and purchase hundreds of books at the Hancock County Library System’s Gigantic Book Sale, hosted at the Kiln Public Library. The sale begins Monday, November 2 at 9 a.m. It will run through Saturday, November 7.
Hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Books include hardback and paperback fiction, non-fiction, and books on literature, art, computers, music and much more. Hardback books will sell for $1, paperbacks for 50¢, DVDs and CD books for $1, and magazines for 25¢. Friday, November 6 is half price day, and Saturday, November 7 is $1.00 per yard. Proceeds from the book sale will be used for purchasing new books at all libraries.
