March Madness is in the Air!

March Madness of Books begins March 8 at Hancock Libraries.

The Hancock County Library System announces a March Madness of Books contest to determine which books are the champs in Hancock County. The bracket includes recent bestsellers and the books most frequently checked out of local libraries.
Books are divided in each of four divisions:

•    Mystery & Thriller
•    Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror
•    Historical/Contemporary
•    Romance & Inspirational

Books in each bracket go head-to-head, with the winner in each contest advancing to the next round. By the Elite 8 round, winners from each division will compete against one another.
A Young Adult books bracket is also up for voting by teens and tweens, with its own four divisions:

•    Contemporary
•    Comics
•    Romance
•    Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror

HancockLibarryLogoMembers of the public are invited to vote in one round each week, beginning with Round 1 – March 8-14, and finishing with the Final Four March 29-April 4, and the Championship Round, April 5-12.
