Developer Sues Diamondhead CC & POA, GM Over Drainage

Local developer and long time resident Jeff Jassby, has filed suit in Hancock County Circuit Court against the Diamondhead Country Club and Property Owners Association along with their former general manager, Tom Koger. The suit alleges that the DCC&POA cause damage to adjoining properties by diverting water around Jassby and others’ land through he use of an undersized culvert that caused flooding of Jassby’s lots.

The suit claims that Koger, then general manager and the DCC&POA refused to address drainage problems supposedly cause by inadequate drainage from their golf course. It also alleges negligence has caused damage to property and the loss of market value. Jassby also claims trespass has occurs on his property known as Beau Veaux 2 along with interfering with his real estate business by tearing down business signage.
